Summer Learning Experience - K-12 - SLE
Muscogee County School District (MCSD) is excited to announce our 4th Annual SLE 2024 this summer for all students. As with previous SLEs, the experience is designed to engage students in a variety of literacy, mathematics and enrichment learning activities through an interactive summer camp approach for K-12 students. The District will collaborate with our local community partners to provide enrichment activities that support student interests in a variety of areas, such as STEM, fine arts and recreational sports.

Frequently Asked Questions
A: Registration for the MCSD SLE 2024 will begin Wednesday, February 28, 2024, and will conclude Tuesday, April 30, 2024. You will register your children for SLE 2024 through the registration app. If you have questions related to SLE 2024, please contact your student’s school administration or call (706)748-2055.
A: Pre-K registration will be handled by the Pre-K Department. For further information please call 706.748.2118
A: MCSD will provide transportation for Pre-K through 8th grade students who qualify to their zoned school. MCSD transportation will only be provided for high school students attending the AP Academy held at Columbus High School. Students will be picked up and dropped off at their zoned school each day. Families will be responsible for getting the high school students to and from their zoned school.
A: Free breakfast and lunch will be provided to students in grades Pre-K – 8th. High School students will be able to eat at any of the open Summer Feeding sites, locations and times will be posted prior to SLE 2024.
A: If you have questions related to SLE 2024, please contact your assigned student’s school administration or call (706) 748-2055.
A: Students are not required to attend SLE 2024; however, students who are not meeting grade level standards and who are in danger of being retained will be required to attend SLE. For these students, attending SLE will provide academic interventions to help them be successful at the next grade level.
