GA Pre-K4 Lottery Application Form
We’re excited to offer families the chance to apply for a GA Pre-K seat for the 2026–2027 school year.
Eligibility
- 1. Children who are four years old on or before September 1, 2026, or children with a late birthday who cannot enter Kindergarten (Birthdates between Sept. 2, 2021 – Dec. 31, 2022).
- 2. Muscogee County residents
Please note: This is an application only. Submitting an application does not guarantee a seat. Placements depend on state funding and available space. Each application is routed to the school in your home attendance zone based on your address.
All applications submitted during the lottery window are entered into a computerized drawing. Families will receive written notice letting you know whether your child received a seat or was placed on the waiting list. Families on the waiting list will be contacted by text message when a seat becomes available.

Claiming a Seat
If your child receives a seat, you must complete the Online Registration Process between March 2–17, 2026.
If registration is not completed by March 17, the seat will be offered to the next family on the waiting list beginning March 18, 2026.
After the Lottery Window Closes
Online applications will reopen after February 27, 2026.
From this point forward, open seats are filled in the order applications are received.
How Placement Works After the Lottery
Once the lottery window ends:
- In-zone students are offered any remaining seats first, based on the date and time their applications were submitted.
- Out-of-zone students may be considered next, beginning August 2026, if seats remain after all in-zone applicants have been placed.
- If you want to be considered for a school outside your zone, answer Question 8 = Yes and select the additional schools you are interested in.
How to Complete the Online Application
To complete the Pre-K application online:
- Click LOGIN
- Scroll to External Community Members and select Create Account
- Enter your email and click Send Verification Code.
- Enter the code and click Confirm Code.

Create a password that includes:
a. One uppercase letter or a number
b. At least 8 characters
- Visit apps.muscogee.k12.ga.us/prek and sign in.

Upload:
a. Proof of your child’s age
b. Parent/guardian ID
c. One proof of Muscogee County residency
- Click Start New Application and enter your child’s correct date of birth.
Applications are routed to the elementary school for your home address.
