GA Pre-K4 Lottery Application Form

We’re excited to offer families the chance to apply for a GA Pre-K seat for the 2026–2027 school year.

Georgia Pre-K Application Information

The 2026–2027 Georgia Pre-K Lottery Application Window was open January 5–February 20, 2026. Lottery results were emailed to families on March 20, 2026.
Families who were offered a Pre-K seat were required to complete the Online Registration (OLR) process between March 23–April 3, 2026. Any seats that were not claimed by the registration deadline were offered to families on the waiting list.

Applying After the Lottery

The lottery application period has ended. Applications are still being accepted for schools with available Pre-K openings.
After the lottery, available seats are filled on a first-come, first-served basis according to the date and time a completed application is received.

How Students Are Placed

• Children who live in a school's attendance zone are offered available seats first.
• If seats remain after all eligible in-zone children have been placed, out-of-zone applicants will be considered.
• If you would like your child to be considered for a school outside your attendance zone, answer "Yes" to Question 8 on the application and select the additional schools you would like your child to attend.

Bus Transportation

Bus transportation is available only for students who attend their assigned zoned Pre-K school based on their current home address.
Transportation is not provided for students who attend an out-of-zone school through school choice.

Who Is Eligible for the 2026–2027 School Year?

Children born between September 2, 2021, and September 1, 2022 are eligible to apply for the 2026–2027 Georgia Pre-K Program.

New for the 2026–2027 School Year

Under a new Georgia law, children who are already age-eligible for kindergarten may also apply to attend the Georgia Pre-K program.
If your child was born between January 1, 2021, and September 1, 2021, you may apply for a Georgia Pre-K seat if your child has never attended a Georgia Pre-K program before.
To be considered, you must complete the online PK application and sign the 5-Year-Old Parent Acknowledgement Form, confirming that your child has never previously attended a Georgia Pre-K program.

How to Complete the Online Application

To complete the Pre-K application online:

1. Click LOGIN
2. Under External Community Members, select Create Account.
3. Enter your email and click Send Verification Code.
4. Enter the code and click Confirm Code.
5. Create a password that:
     a. Includes at least one uppercase letter or one number.
     b. Is at least eight (8) characters long.
   
6. Visit apps.muscogee.k12.ga.us/prek and sign in.
7. Upload the following documents:
     a. Proof of your child’s age
     b. Parent/guardian ID
     c. One proof of Muscogee County residency
   
8. Click Start New Application and enter your child’s correct date of birth.
9. Your application will automatically be routed to the elementary school that serves your home address.
