The Hardaway International Baccalaureate Diploma Program is a rigorous pre-university course of study that meets the needs of highly motivated secondary school students. It currently exists in 101 countries around the globe, and just over 1,000 schools worldwide. It may be offered only at IB-approved schools. The IB curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, an exposure to a variety of viewpoints, and inter-cultural understanding among young people. The program offers courses such as: IB World Literature, IB 20th Century World History, IB Biology, Discrete Topics, and courses offered ONLY in IB Schools - Theory of Knowledge and Personal & Professional Skills.

Hardaway High School front entrance
All students are required to bring a mask and their own pen and/or pencil. No calculators are necessary.
Students who do not sign up for a testing date and complete the online application before the testing date selected will not be allowed to test. All students, regardless of whether they are exempt from the testing process*, must complete the entire application. You will NOT receive confirmation or a reminder of your testing date, so please make sure to mark it on your calendar. If you need to change your testing date, you may reopen the application and select a new date, but you must resubmit the application in order for that change to take place.
*Testing exemptions include:
- Current 9th or 10th grade students
- Current IB students at Richards Middle School who are in good academic and behavioral standing
- Current 8th grade students who are taking at least one course for high school credit, do not have ANY grades below 85% at semester break, and are in good academic and behavioral standing
