Hannan Magnet Academy is committed to providing vast educational experiences that will inspire and equip all students to achieve unlimited potential. Hannan is a HOME where ALL of our students grow and learn! The Hannan Magnet Program is a full time program within our school which seeks to serve gifted students as well as those identified as high academic achievers. In addition, we offer Spanish for all students. We also offer technology, music, art, and physical education. Our students can participate in several extracurricular activities to include Robotics Club, WHKL Hawkeye News, Science Olympiad, Helen Ruffin Reading Clubs, BOYS Reading Club, Math Club, Basketball, Cheerleading, Step Team, Garden Club, and many other clubs and activities! We also have a flourishing STEM garden where each grade level is responsible for planting and cultivating their own garden plots. At Hannan, safety is priority, and we ensure that students and staff follow all safety protocols to include close monitoring of all student activities.
